O. G. no. 16/2022 amended the Fiscal Code, therefore I present below the main provisions of the normative act.

The individual employment contract is regulated by Law no. 53/2003 of the Labor Code.
An important aspect to be mentioned is that the minimum age to be able to work and have an individual employment contract is 16 years, as provided in the Labor Code. An individual employment contract can also be concluded for people who are 15 years old, but only with the consent of their parents and only if the work performed does not endanger their health and professional development.
As specified in the Labor Code, the employment contract must be concluded in writing. The steps to be followed when concluding an individual employment contract begin with the actual drafting and handing over a copy to the employee. In order to prove that he received a copy, the employee must write on the contract that remains with the employer that he received an original copy, along with the signature and date.

New provisions on the sale of farmland located outside of the buildable areas is installed as per 13 October 2020.
As per 13 October, the foreigners can still buy agricultural land if they buy a company via a share deal. Other transactions are not possible any more for foreigners. Romania has put as single European country a limit for European citizens and other foreigners. Not very correct towards the citizens of Europe in my opinion.

A new legislative Order has introduced changes regarding the tax exemption available on the wages of IT professionals. In order to decide who will benefit from said tax exemption certain conditions must be met, as follows:
• Reintroduction of the EUR 10,000 threshold
In order to benefit from the income tax exemption for software engineers, the employer must have earned at least EUR 10,000 per software engineer during the previous fiscal year.
Why Employer Branding?
All companies with private capital that earned up to 500,000 euros in revenue in 2016 are required to change their tax system by becoming a taxpayer on microfinance income. Basically, no private company with income under this ceiling can not pay a 16% tax rate, but is forced to apply the tax regime for micro-enterprises.
Starting December 2016, the new maximum nominal value of meal vouchers is 15 lei.
The new nominal value of meal vouchers was established by Law no. 218/2016 for the amendment of Art. 3 paragraphs. (1) of Law no. 142/1998 regarding grating food vouchers, published in the Official Gazette no. 931/2016.
Therefore, in accordance with the provisions of this law the order meal tickets with face values of up to 15 lei inclusive can be delivered starting from December.
The procedure regarding the exemption from income tax for IT employees was modified by Order of the Ministry of Finance no.
