Women who want to start a business can benefit of an aid of EUR 10,000

Women with ideas, who want to start a business, can benefit from the state of an aid in value of 10,000 euros, under the "Woman Entrepreneur" program, which will debut at the end of June, announced on June 14, in Deva, Minister for SMEs, Business Environment and Tourism Maria Grapini. The program is a first for the business milieu, given that women who can file for funds must submit a business plan that will be evaluated electronically, to eliminate subjectivity, and the age criteria do not matter. "Here the model is that women can also start a business later in life. Because female entrepreneurship is lagging behind, I could say, compared to the potential that we have, I have not placed an age limit. Anyone can start the business at will. It is important to draft a business plan and she will get those 10,000 euros, just like young beginners", said Minister Maria Grapini. The business plan will be evaluated by several criteria, based on a computer model. Also, the principle "first come-first served" is given up, so that it does not matter how fast the project was submitted. "I introduced criteria that exclude the intervention of the people. Criteria are put into the computer and the score is to exit automatically. That's also the model for young entrepreneurs, because I want to avoid any bias", Grapini explained. According to her, the amounts available for funding projects dedicated to women entrepreneurs rise at 500,000 lei, the Minister delegate for SMEs manifesting hope that the funds will increase on the occasion of the future budget revision this year.
